A son,
A friend,
But to most a brother.
You stood strong,
To be there for others.
You held out your hand,
To many in need.
You lended a shoulder,
In which to cry on.
You guided us all.
Rest in peace John.
As we all miss you,
We remember back.
We remember all the times,
That we had with you.
So hard to believe,
That you're gone.
Rest in peace John.
Gone from this world but into another,
Where you're no longer a bleeder.
You are healed,
And happy with glee.
Someday we all shile see,
See the happy in you again,
But until then,
We miss you,
We love you,
We'll always remember,
You're always in our hearts and minds,
Rest in peace John.
Hey, good job with the poem. This reminds of an old friend who died ten months ago. Even in the short time that I've known her, she was like my second grandmother. I know exactly how it feels to loose a close friend.
John was like my brother. We were close very close.
